Layout
Great design starts with knowing how to guide the eye. These projects explore the balance between typography, imagery, and information to create layouts that are both functional and engaging. Whether organizing complex content or designing a visual experience, my goal is to make every element feel purposeful.
Hay There
American Advertising Federation (AAF) held a Kentucky Derby themed ADDY night. ADDY night is a recognition of students hard work and determination to make powerful graphic design work. For the ADDY night event I was able to design two placemats for people to enjoy seeing when they sit down at their designated table.

Tagged for Death
A hand-screenprinted artwork transformed into a digitally designed book cover, combining layered ink techniques with typography and composition to create a tactile book cover. The final screen-printed design was featured in the 44th edition of The Artist Closeup Magazine.

St. Gianna's Website
As a personal piece, I conceptualized and designed the St. Gianna website, including the name and all visual elements. My goal was to create something engaging and meaningful, using typography and layout to communicate the brand’s message. This experience deepened my understanding of typography and taught me how to design effectively within real-world constraints, resulting in a unique and cohesive final product.

Mishaps Happen
Don’t feel ashamed when something goes wrong—chances are, you’re not alone. Using data from both professionals and students, I created a data graphic titled “Mishaps That Happen to Illustrators.” I photographed my own arm for this piece and used type and layout to bring the design together.

Brand
Every brand needs the right tools to make an impact. This collection showcases my ability to create supporting materials that strengthen a brand’s identity, from promotional pieces to printed collateral. Each design focuses on clear communication, intentional layouts, and creating memorable connections with an audience.
Red Bull Reimagined
This campaign takes Red Bull to the next level, beyond just “wings.” While Red Bull is known for targeting adrenaline junkies, its focus often misses the everyday person who simply needs a boost. I created this campaign to target college students just trying to survive the chaos of school. These students have heard of Red Bull but fear it might overwhelm their nervous system rather than just keeping them awake to tackle tasks. This campaign shows that Red Bull is safe, approachable, and will help students rise above their struggles, balance their tasks, and thrive toward success.Won a Student Chapter Gold ADDY in 2024

On The Hook
On The Hook Coffee Shop is a branding project designed for avid fishermen seeking a place to unwind, share stories, and recharge after a day on the water. Targeted toward men ages 35–40, the brand combines rustic charm with a welcoming atmosphere inspired by life on the lake. I designed the complete brand identity, including the logo, and extended it across menus, merchandise, and supporting marketing materials to create a cohesive visual experience.

The GOAT
This goat soap packaging was designed for a fictional farmer’s market, inspired by past summers working at my family’s market. A family member once owned KJ Goat Soaps and Lotions, and by incorporating a new logo, fresh copy writing, and bolder colors, I created a well-designed packaging series.

Large Format
Taking designs beyond the screen, large-format projects challenge me to think about scale, space, and how people physically interact with design. From event pieces to display graphics, each project requires careful preparation, attention to detail, and an understanding of how digital concepts transform into real-world experiences.
Beatles & Elvis
High-resolution images were transformed into life-size displays using the HP Latex 360 large-format printer. Featuring a 6-foot-tall Elvis and the Beatles, these pieces were printed, mounted onto coroplast signs, and contour cut to bring digital designs into a physical experience.

Wedding Dancefloor
Designed a custom 12x18 foot wedding dance floor that transformed a large physical space into a personalized celebration piece. I developed the layout and prepared the artwork for large-format production, ensuring the design translated successfully from screen to a full-scale printed application.

During the printing and laying process.

Foam Board Displays
Created and produced custom foam board displays that preserve meaningful memories and celebrate important moments. From milestone celebrations to vintage photo tributes, each design was thoughtfully arranged to balance visual impact, readability, and emotional connection while preparing artwork for professional print production.

Unusual
Not every idea follows a traditional path. This collection represents the projects where experimentation, curiosity, and creative problem-solving take the lead. From unexpected concepts to unique design challenges, these pieces showcase my willingness to explore new approaches and take creative risks.
Murder On The Deck
Inspired by my love for murder mysteries, these playing cards are designed to entertain players even when they’re more focused on talking than playing. Instead of traditional suits, you’ll find bloody fingerprints, ropes, notebooks, and magnifying glasses. Have fun trying to figure out whose finger is on the front of the box-because even I don’t know!

Toxic Art
Instagram is a great tool to scroll through and lose a few hours of your day, but sometimes, you can learn something valuable as well. I designed these posts to capture attention while sharing important information about light, air, and water pollution. You can see these posts live on my Instagram page, click the icon below!

Matchbooks
I took the word match and ran with the idea of a boxing match—starring a king and a joker in a dramatic (and slightly silly) showdown. The matchbook features moving characters, a castle exterior, and matches that double as a scoreboard, with tiny judges reacting inside. This hands-on project was a fun break from the screen and brought the concept to life in a new way.

Hey! I’m Kaitlynn Everroad, a graphic designer who has always been drawn to creating and experimenting with new ideas. Growing up in a small town in Indiana taught me to appreciate the little moments, unique stories, and creativity found in everyday life. My passion for design began long before my education through a love for bringing ideas to life. After moving to Arkansas, I continued developing my skills through new challenges, experiences, and opportunities that pushed me to grow as a designer. I enjoy exploring different mediums, solving creative problems, and taking ideas from concept to completion.Outside of design, you can find me reading a good mystery book, painting, trying new creative hobbies, or listening to old songs. I believe creativity comes from curiosity, experiences, and the willingness to see things differently.
